Picture time!

2 months down of married life. Do we fell different? Yes and no.. while our everyday is the same (Tom still has to do laundry, the house needs to be clean, we still leave eachother notes with reminders) the feeling is a bit different. We feel more committed, more solid, I see him in a totally distinctive light, a bit peculiar, but at the same time so reasuring. I will grow old with this man and I could not have choosen better.

Now with the wedding behind us, we continue to get surprises from our guest - they continue to send pictures and we get to relieve the day with a happy smile.

We truy had fun - it was fast, and yes, I will join every other bride out there, and say - I barely remember it, it past us way to fast. I cannot wait until our videographer calls us to tells us the video is ready, so we can relive the moments all over again. In the meantime, the pictures keep coming. Here are some of our favorites.

It was the best day ... we could not have asked for the perfect weather, the perfect venue the yummiest of food and the most awesome vendors (our photographers, caterers, videographers - all top notch!).  All of our friends and family had the most amazing time and we are still getting notes and compliments.  It was truly a fairytale day.

Happy ever after

Well it's a done deal, I'm officially a Mrs.

People came, in fact everyone that RSVP came (Mr. George Clooney sadly had a previous engagement in LA with that stupid Oscar party).

We party hard. We dance the floor to the ground. We eat lots. We laughed like we never laughed before. And there were tons of tears - the happy kind. Tom and I could not have asked for a more magical day. It was beyond our expectations.

There will be pictures, they are still trickling in, but so far this one is my favorite. I have not seen those from our photographers at 12-1 Photography, but for now this is one that I just love, it captures what we were feeling that day - total love and joy!

T-44 Days until we say our I Do's and the hardest part of this has been the RSVP's

RSPV's are starting to come in, we are have officially passed out 45 mark (we were shooting for an even 40 guest wedding, and not it's looking like 55 is the number to beat). I still have about 10 invitations out there in the unknown.

Various sources (friends) have told me that the hardest part of the wedding planning is not the picking of colors, flowers, decor, food, dress, makeup, photophapher but the actually waiting on RSVP. Apparently there are those that either wait until the last minute or basically don't understand the concept of asking for their reponse and choose to waltz in the day off.

OH HELL TO THE NO!

People! How hard can this be? I made it even easier - take postcard, fill it out, walk to mail box, drop it in. It has a stamp already for christ sake!

But apparently, that is still hard for some.

Yes, I'm a bit frustrated, in about 2 weeks my catering company is going to need a number and I'm in the middle of finishing up the favors, and need a number.. there is so many fucking things in need of THIS NUMBER!!! I'm trying to keep my cool and see the funny side of it

"Trying" is the key word here.

What I do love is the decision of going with the postcard size for my RSVP's.  First major saving on stamps, second, I don't feel so bad when they show up all bend out of shape, due to some post office machinery war and third, I love - loveeee the comments my guest feel the need to share.

Apparently we are going to have some very awesome plus 1's.

Don't believe? Take a look.

Run like a girl, get dirty like a boy.

As the wedding day approaches so is my level of awareness that I have to drop 20 pounds.  Mainly to look good in the pictures, you all  KNOW THAT cameras make you gain 10 pounds.

No bueno.

I have mentioned my friend Steph here before – this chica of mine has got me inspired to work on my body more.  She introduced me to OTF (OrangeTheory Fitness), which I’m totally hooked on.  Has included me in working out with a personal trainer, has always made sure that I’m included in her workouts and up until now has tried to wrangle me into doing a 5K with her.  Yeah, well, that IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN THANKYOUVERYMUCH.

I already hate working out, but running?

Nope, no way, no how.

But then Steph got Pretty Muddy back in November.  And when I read about her experience and saw the pictures, my interested was peaked.  This is not a sweaty, boring 5K, this is a let run/walk/crawl/laugh your way thru a muddy course while dressed in a cool cute outfit.

I landed on their site and found out that

Dirty Girl is a 5k mud run for women of all ages and athletic abilities. It’s an untimed obstacle course with names like H2OMG and PMS (Pretty Muddy Stuff), you can expect to laugh your way through 11 different courses with crazy team uniforms rain or shine.

It also very close to Steph heart, since they partner with the National Breast Cancer foundation.

She had me.  And I signed up for the next Dirty Girl Mud Run taking place in Feb 2013, specifically 20 days before my wedding.

I’m calling this run my de-stress-before-the-wedding-day event.

I will be part of her team and we love to have more friends join us! Come on, start your 2013 getting dirty.  And to give you a little push, if you use the code FLBLOGGUEST you will get 20% off any Florida run.  And it does not stop there, if you register for any of the Florida Dirty Girl runs between Dec. 5th and 11:59 PM on Dec. 24th you will automatically be entered to win a gym membership of your choice valued up to $500.

Not bad right?

So what are you waiting for, get your dirty self over there and sign up today.

Follow them in Facebook and Twitter too!
